The diagnosis is the job

Repair sized to the problem
Clean, re-sand & seal. Nothing gets excavated. We strip the grime and moss, draw the efflorescence out before it sets under the sealer, recharge the joints with fresh polymeric sand, and seal.
Lift and re-lay. One stretch dropped. We lift only those pavers, correct the base under them, and reset the originals.
Full rebuild. When clay has hollowed the foundation out across the whole surface, patching is money spent twice. We take it up, rebuild the base to our new-install standard, and relay it.
Bulging walls, and keeping the fix
A retaining wall that leans or bows is telling you about drainage, not masonry. With no way to shed water, saturated soil stacks pressure against it until it goes out of plumb. We open the ground behind it and set clean drain stone and perforated pipe so the water has an exit, correcting the reason it moved rather than just straightening it. So: for grip, we grind the slab to a true mechanical tooth and bed the stone in polymer-modified structural mortar whose latex flexes with the seasons instead of fracturing. For water, we lay perpendicular relief channels beneath the border stones and a geotextile-and-sand bed under the field, so any moisture reaching the slab escapes instead of freezing under the finish.
Finished to the last edge
We wrap the step fronts and landing sides with matching stone risers so nothing gray peeks out and the finished piece reads as solid stonework built from the ground up.
